WEB Kings Hot Shooting vs. Warriors Experimentation: Kings Come Out on Top

Game 1: Kings 126, Warriors 123

The Sacramento Kings came out with a strong start in Game 1 of their NBA Play-In matchup against the Golden State Warriors, led by the hot shooting of Keegan Murray. Murray started the game 4-of-7 from three-point range, scoring 14 points in the first quarter.

Warriors Experimentation Fails to Pay Off

The Warriors, meanwhile, were experimenting with their lineup in the early going. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green all started on the bench, as head coach Steve Kerr gave some of his younger players a chance to shine. However, the Warriors' bench was unable to keep up with the Kings' hot shooting, and the Warriors trailed by 10 points at the half.

Kings Hold On for Victory

The Warriors came out stronger in the second half, but the Kings were able to hold on for the victory. DeAaron Fox led the Kings with 25 points, while Murray finished with 22 points. Curry finished with 27 points for the Warriors, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Kings' hot shooting.

Looking Ahead to Game 2

The Kings and Warriors will face off again in Game 2 on Wednesday night. The Warriors will need to find a way to stop the Kings' hot shooting if they want to win the series. The Kings, meanwhile, will need to continue to play with confidence and energy if they want to upset the defending champions.
