Manchester City Reach Champions League Final

Bernardo Silva Scores Twice As City Demolish Real Madrid 4-0

City Double Their Lead In First Half

In a match that saw Manchester City dominate from start to finish, Bernardo Silva scored twice to lead his team to a 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final. With a 3-1 aggregate lead from the first leg, City were always in control of the tie and never looked like relinquishing their advantage.

Silva Breaks The Deadlock

The opening goal came in the 37th minute when Silva latched onto a loose ball and fired home from just outside the area. The lead was doubled just before half-time when Silva scored his second, this time with a header from a Kevin De Bruyne cross.

Dominant Second Half

Real Madrid offered little in the second half, and City continued to create chances at will. Phil Foden made it 3-0 in the 68th minute with a fine finish from the edge of the area, and Riyad Mahrez completed the scoring in the 89th minute with a penalty.

City Reach Final

The victory means that City have reached the Champions League final for the second time in three years. They will now face either Liverpool or Villarreal in the final on May 28.
